Diversity-in-Marketing Integrated Communications Internship—Summer 2024

Pay: $18.29 / hour plus a $750 / month housing stipend

Now in its fourth year, the Diversity-in-Marketing (DIM) Internship program is part of our Indigenous-owned agency’s commitment to attract, develop and retain diverse, high-potential, early-career marcom talent. As such, this opportunity is open to any current students and post-grad professionals who self-identify as members of a historically underrepresented group in marketing, public relations or communications. Grasslands is seeking to fill two DIM internship positions for the summer of 2024 (more details below).

  • Grasslands summer interns will engage in a 12-week paid summer internship program from June to August (specific dates are flexible).
  • They will gain hands-on work experience, professional development workshops, mentorship, networking opportunities and more.
  • The bulk of our interns' time will be spent across our dynamic PR and Marketing departments, with the remaining 10% strategically allocated to HR and Operations, for a fully immersive and well-rounded agency experience.
  • The interns will be assigned a mentor who will provide ongoing support and advice, share ideas and knowledge, facilitate weekly check-ins and, ultimately, help the intern tie their Grasslands learning experience to his / her/ their career goals.
  • After completion of the program, Grasslands interns will have opportunities to further engage with Grasslands to jumpstart their careers.

The role requires working in person at Grasslands’ headquarters in Denver, CO, for the duration of the internship. ‍In addition to the hourly wage of $18.29 / hour (for approximately 40 hours of work per week), Grasslands also offers a $750 / month housing stipend to help offset additional housing and transportation costs.
